This is why we’ve launched a new product - Moniepoint personal banking.

Through this personal banking app, users can make transfers, pay bills and buy airtime. We’re also launching a debit card which can be used at ATMs, POS terminals, and online. This solution is powered by our reliable payment infrastructure, which our businesses are already familiar with, and ensures we can connect businesses and their customers more effectively.

Our experience in building banking solutions that cater to our users’ needs has also led to the addition of a new feature for personal users – card dispute resolution. With this, every user will be able to log disputes for failed card transactions and track them till they get a full reversal, giving them control over dispute resolution for the first time.

Rather than a foray into new grounds, we view this as an extension of our current path, providing even better support for the businesses using our products. With the personal banking app and card, customers can now make seamless payments to these businesses. This support will extend to employees as well, with the release of a Salary Advance feature in the coming months.

Aligning this with our sponsorship of this year’s season of Big Brother Naija, this app will also feature various games. These games will see users earn points with each transaction and compete for grand prizes of millions of naira each week.
